Biomeme has officially outgrown its home at 10th and Chestnut and is moving on to Netrality’s 401 North Broad Street for its new corporate headquarters! The new headquarters boasts 44,000 square feet of space and will house Biomeme’s laboratory, testing, manufacturing, and office operations. To say we are excited would be an understatement.
Biomeme’s team has quadrupled since March 2020 and we quickly realized our current home, 1015 Chestnut Street, could no longer meet the demands of our growing team and manufacturing spaces. When we found 401 North Broad Street, it checked all of the boxes:
Space for our existing team with room to grow
Amenities like executive conference rooms, bike rooms, etc.
Loading dock
Location in Center City Philadelphia
Transportation availability
Capable of handling laboratory use and manufacturing
Home to other life science and digital health companies
“Netrality’s 401 North Broad is the ideal home for our new headquarters. We’re excited to expand our research and development, manufacturing and operations within Center City,” said Max Perelman, Co-Founder and Business Lead of Biomeme.
Perelman also explained that Biomeme's expansion of device and assay manufacturing capacity at 401 North Broad will be supported by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) grant of $3 million. This RACP grant will be administered by the Pennsylvania Office of the Budget and the Philadelphia Authority for Industrial Development.
“401 North Broad meets or exceeds all of the key requirements for our lab and manufacturing use, including heavy floor loading, wide column spacing, high ceilings, ample available backup power, excellent supply and exhaust air ventilation, secure loading docks, and robust network connectivity," added Karen Griffith Gryga, Operations Lead of Biomeme.
Netrality was ideal for Biomeme to build out space to our exact specifications. Biomeme has been working with Strada Architecture LLC to build out the 44,000 square feet of space to meet all of our needs from offices to laboratories to manufacturing spaces. With plans to move into the new office building by the end of 2021, we are excited about what the future holds in our new headquarters.

Biomeme was founded in New Mexico, but Center City Philadelphia has allowed the company to evolve and grow into what it is today and we are here to stay. As we continue to outfit our new home, we plan to document the process and share updates with you so stay tuned for more!
